1:1 Life Coaching - ONLINE
(Adults 18+)
What is life coaching?

Coaching is a process where a coach empowers a coachee to find the path between where they are now, to where they want to be. This can be achieved by asking powerful questions which allows the coachee to dig deep and discover what it is they truly want and what is holding them back from achieving this.
Coaching is a future-focused practice so although you may discuss parts of the past, the focus is on the present and how to move forward.
A coach inspires the coachee to access their internal resources, values, skills, and strengths to identify personal and/or professional goals and how to accelerate their lives toward their best self.
The idea of 'life' coaching is that you can choose to focus your coaching sessions on a range of areas in your life that are important to you, whether this is personal or professional, or both. Examples of these may be career, finances, love, relationships, wellbeing, health and fitness, family, or fun and creativity. The key is that any of what you choose to focus on and goals you want to work towards, are completely your choice.

The amount and frequency of sessions depend entirely on you and your needs. Sessions are 60 minutes per appointment and can be offered weekly, fortnightly, or even monthly.

Coaching is currently offered online (via Microsoft Teams/Zoom).

Why have life coaching?

Every individual experiences and approaches life differently which is why there are so many various reasons to want and need life coaching. Whatever your reason, it is completely unique to you. You may need life coaching if you answer yes to one, some or all of these questions:

Do you feel stuck or lost in your life and need some direction?

Do you need focus and clarity on where you are now and what you truly want?
Do you need accountability to identify and reach your goals?
Are you fearful of the future?
Do you know that something needs to change, but you're not sure what?
Do you keep repeating the same behaviours and not getting the results you want?

Do you experience feelings of not being good enough? Imposter syndrome? Doubt?

Is life coaching right for you?

As with any service, you will only benefit from life coaching if you are ready and prepared to commit and fully engage with the service.

Coaching is also NOT counselling or therapy. Coaching does not involve the diagnosis or treatment of mental health disorders as defined by the International Classification of Diseases (ICD-10) and coaching is not to be used as a substitute for counselling, psychotherapy, psychoanalysis, mental health care, substance abuse treatment, or other professional advice by legal, medical or other qualified professionals and that it is your exclusive responsibility to seek such independent professional guidance as needed. You are able to engage in both specialised mental health services and coaching, if this is right for you. If you are currently under the care of a mental health professional, it is recommended that you promptly inform the mental health care provider of the nature and extent of the coaching relationship agreed upon between the coach.

Both the coach and coachee have roles and responsibilities as part of the coaching relationship.
